The Relevance of Ruin I & II
These paintings inhabit the space between memory and meaning. Figures emerge, half-formed, from a backdrop of layered color and deteriorated geometry—remnants of systems that no longer serve us yet still haunt the present. This is my meditation on structures rendered obsolete: cultural, personal, spiritual. The debris of relevance.
Each mark suggests a broken artifact suspended in time, evoking “irrelevant relics” that challenge me to question what I preserve, what I abandon, and what I only pretend to understand.
