Babel or Baobab?
To me, Babel represents the power language and communication have to unify us. But how fractured speech and untruths split us, turning coherence into confusion.
The Baobab, which I read about ages ago in “The Little Prince,” is a tree of life. At the same time, its warning is: What grows unseen can overwhelm us if left untended.
When I think about these together, the question in my mind is…
Are we reaching toward imagination and connection? Or are we feeding what might undo us?
